Tommy Lee’s Foundation – Motley Crue

Tommy Lee played with Studio 19 for quite some time. Finally, Nikki Sixx was able to convince him to part ways and join hands with him instead. They both formulated Motley Crue which came to life once Mick Mars, lead guitarist and Vince Neil, vocalist came on board.

Motley Crue performed “Too Fast For Love” and scored a release from major Elektra Records in 1981. Soon it emerged as one of the most successful heavy metal bands with continuous blockbuster releases. “Theatre of Pain” and “Girks, Girls, Girls” are only few of the famous ones.

Some silent investments in real estate over the years has helped Tommy Lee buckle up his net worth.

As part of the investments, he acquired the house in Malibu in 1995, co-owned with Pamela Anderson. After the scandal of leaked video within the house, he thought it better to sell out. The house was sold in 2005 for $2.5 million.

He then purchased another house in 2007 worth $5.85 million. This time it was located in Calabasas, California. It was not just another luxurious house but a mansion with over 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a pond, a pool, and a very own recording studio.
